Comments: The stars were elongated because of the unguided relatively long exposures for the poor mount

The Dumbbell Nebula, also known as M27 or NGC 6853, is a planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula and is located about 1360 light years away from the earth. It was the first planetary nebula discovered, by Charles Messier in 1764 and is viewed from our perspective along the plane of its equator.
